Enkay Blog has just named me as #86 on his list of top female bloggers. Now, that might not sound that great at first…but considering there are hundreds of thousands of female bloggers out there, I feel pretty fucking honored!
*Flutters eyelashes* Thank you, Enkay! (You can see the full list here.)
Now, I haven’t gone through the whole list yet, but I can tell that most of the other female bloggers are not sex bloggers; they’re just fun females doing there thang and really working to make a difference in the world of blogging. I’m in good company, and a lot of the bloggers on this list, like Shai Coggins (#32) and Laura William (#23), are females I read all of the time. We each make our own contributions to the blogging world.
Mine just happens to be sex.
When I started this website, it wasn’t about anything more than having fun. I just reported back on my sexual adventurous and maybe did a “tips” article from time to time to draw in some traffic.
I’ve found that I know longer care about my traffic. I mean, I care, but what is more important is that I’m having an honest conversation with you all about sex, domination, submission, and relationships, no matter if one person or one thousand people are reading. I hope that is what this website is becoming. Some days, it is really quite around here, while other days, you all have a lot to say. What I’m most thankful for are the emails, though. I’ve gotten some really special emails, people asking me, wanting help. On the surface, we’re just talking about sex here…
But sex goes so much deeper than that. Its part of your very identity. It’s been a long road, me finding my submissive side, and my Daddy helping me bloom. I’m learning every day, and I credit you all with that – every comment, every email, every dig into my personal life helps me define myself in an ever-changing way.
I’m not the only sex blogger out there making a difference. We’re a growing community, and I think its important that we all be out there for people to read. I mean, yeah, a lot of what we write is smut. I’ll say it – it’s smutty smut that gets people off. So what? I credit an amazing blogger who is no longer around with me ever exploring submission in the first place. It was her smutty blog that gave me the courage to try it, to stop feeling like I was some kind of pervert for liking it. If my blog even gives ONE person out there the courage to do that, to really find themselves, then this wasn’t a waste of time. What we’re doing is fun AND important – just as important as any other blog out there.
So, I’m creating my own list – the Top 100 Sex Bloggers of 2008.
I’d like your help. This list is going to be based on three things:
- My personal opinion of the site
- Your “ratings” (ie, PR, Alexia, etc) and survival rate (ie, how long your blog’s been alive)
- Your fans (which I’ll take from who all nominated you below and the comments on your site)
I have some very clear ideas in my mind as to who needs to make the top 100 list, but the Internet is huge and there are a lot of amazing blogs I’ve not read yet. So, I’m counting on you to nominate them!
All you have to do is leave a comment on the official post. Nominate and pass the word on to others you know!

Aw, thank you! I’m honoured to be on YOUR list.
And yes, I agree. We all have our own contributions in blogging – and the world in general. Good luck with creating your list.
