I think rope work is super pretty. Personally, I’ve never been with a dom who was skilled in the area of shibari, but being tied up by a true master is definitely a fantasy of mine. Rope bondage can be calming and relaxing, or it can be exciting, or it can even be panic-inducing. It all depends on the specific dom and sub, along with the environment you’re in.

Today’s 12 Naughty Days challenge is to try your hand as some pretty rope bondage.

For couples: Doms, take the time to do some beautiful rope work with your sub. Since today is “7 Ropes a-Knooted,” do seven different techniques with your sub. You can either do them all at once, stopping after each to play a little or take pictures, or you can do a different type of bondage every time you’re together until you reach the number seven (or go beyond and do even more!).

For single subs: Believe it or not, there are some different types of rope work you can practice on yourself. You might not be bound, but you can tie some rope harnesses, for example. They make great pictures, if you’re brave enough to post them!

For single doms: Just because you’re single right now doesn’t mean you will be forever, and having rope skills is hot. Prepare for future playtime with subs by learning how to do some simple knots. Practice at home on yourself or a friend (or even a pillow to simulate a torso), and consider taking some classes. Local BDSM groups typically offer shibari workshops a few times a year.

• A series of pictures of your masturbating in succession (you can even make a flipbook hehe)

• A pictorial strip tease where you start clothed and take off one article of clothing with each shot
• Eight pictures with a naughty holiday theme (naked under the tree, wrapped up with a pretty bow, etc.)
